Backyard Pineapple Slush

This picture-perfect moonshine cocktail with frozen pineapple and Maraschino cherries brings the beach home and serves six. 

Ingredients:
1 cup prosecco
½ cup of moonshine
2 cups frozen pineapple
2 cups ice
1 tbsp honey
pineapple slices, for garnish
1-2 tbsp Maraschino cherry liquid

 

 

Instructions:
1. In a blender, add all ingredients except Maraschino liquid and garnishes. Blend until smooth and frosty.

2. Spoon a tablespoon or two of Maraschino liquid into a wine or hurricane glass. 

3. Slowly pour the slush over the liquid and watch as the deep red cherry juice swirls through the frosty beverage. 

4. Top your fruit garnishes and enjoy through a straw.


Red, White & Boozy Margaritas

Talk about Patriotic! This is the perfect 4th of July cocktail recipe and serves two. Make sure the mixtures are nice and slushy as it will make it easier to layer. Find the recipe at www.dish.com. 

For Red Layer:

3 cups of ice
2 oz. silver tequila
1 oz. triple sec
2 oz. grenadine

For Blue Layer:

3 cups of ice
2 oz. silver tequila
1 oz. triple sec
2 oz. blue curacao

For White Layer:

3 cups of ice
2 oz. silver tequila
1 oz. triple sec
2 oz. lime juice

Directions:

  1. Make the red layer: blend all ingredients and divide evenly into two glasses.
  2. Repeat with the blue and white layer and serve immediately. 

Moonshine Apple Pie Cocktail

Nothing says summer like a delicious slice of apple pie. So this summer, let’s put the pie in a drink for this delicious moonshine cocktail, courtesy of FoodNetwork.com

Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups apple liqueur
6 oz apple cider
3 oz moonshine whiskey
2 tsps cinnamon
4 drops vanilla extract
Store-bought caramel sauce
Gala apple slices, for garnish

Directions:
Fill a shaker halfway with ice. Add the liqueur, cider, moonshine, cinnamon and vanilla. Shake well. Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of the caramel sauce into each of two pint-size mason jars. Add ice and strain the drink mixture over the top. Garnish with apple slices. 

Dreamsicle Moonshine

Your summer just got hotter with this Dreamsicle Moonshine that is filled with coffee creamer and perfect for parties. Recipe can be found at www.moonshinerecipe.org. You’ll need a boiling pot, a mixing spoon and moonshine jars.

Ingredients:
3 Cups of 190+ Proof Moonshine
½ cup of powdered French Vanilla Coffee Creamer
4 tsps of Vanilla Extract
2 Cups of Table Sugar
1 Gallon of Orange Juice 

 

 

 

Instructions:
1. Pour 1 gallon of orange juice into the pot and bring it to a boil.

2. Mix in vanilla extract, sugar, and coffee creamer, stir well until fully dissolved. 

3. Turn the heat off and let the mixture cool to room temperature, then add moonshine.

4. Transfer to a storage container or bottles and keep for at least a couple of days before drinking.
