Crystal Ridge Moonshine Cocktail Recipe Contest
Calling all Arkansas Bartenders and Home Mixologists
If you’re an amateur or professional bartender or just like making some adult punch for your friends, we want to see your mixology skills!
Crystal Ridge Distillery hosts a seasonal cocktail recipe contest, and the winning mixologist receives a $100 cash prize and bragging rights across the state.
The base spirit must be moonshine!
Cocktails must be reproducible by Crystal Ridge bar staff. Participants must be residents of Arkansas and acknowledge that they are at least 21 years of age.
Entry into the competition allows Crystal Ridge to advertise and serve recipe entries at Crystal Ridge Distillery. There is no purchase necessary to enter.
Terms & Conditions
- Competitors must be 21+ to enter
- There is no purchase necessary and no guarantee to win.
- Competitors must be an Arkansas resident.
- Moonshine must be the base spirit in the recipe entry.
- Entries must include a minimum of 1 oz. of alcohol by liquid volume and no more than 2.5 oz. of alcohol by liquid volume.
- Only one recipe entry will be accepted per mixologist per submission.
- Winners will be mailed a check for $100 within a month of being notified they have won.
- Winners are not eligible to enter again for at least one calendar year.
- All cocktail recipes should be submitted through the entry form on the Crystal Ridge Website. Entries submitted in-person will not be accepted.
- Cocktail recipes must be easily replicable by Crystal Ridge bar staff.
- Liquor measurements must be expressed in fluid ounces. Dashes and drops should be used for small amounts.
- Mixer and juice measurements must also be expressed in fluid ounces.
- No more than seven ingredients may be included in the recipe (garnishes do not qualify as ingredients).
- Non-standard or home mixers may result in disqualification.
- Competitors acknowledge they are submitting an original recipe. Existing recipes will be disqualified.
- Recipes made with fire or flame are prohibited due to safety concerns.
- Garnish must be edible.
- By submitting a recipe for this competition, all competitors agree to assign copyright of their recipe and drink name to Crystal Ridge Distillery.
- Competitors and cocktails produced using their drink recipe may be photographed or filmed by Crystal Ridge and copyright of these images for any purpose, including advertising, will be retained by Crystal Ridge.
- By entering the Crystal Ridge Recipe Contest, you are granting Crystal Ridge permission and assigning license to use images and video of cocktails produced using your recipe. You agree that these images may be used in any media for any purpose, which may include advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging for any product or service. These images may also be combined with other images, text and graphics, and cropped, altered or modified. You agree that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual.
- By entering the Crystal Ridge Recipe Contest, you are granting Crystal Ridge permission and assigning license to use your cocktail recipe and cocktail name. You agree that this recipe and cocktail name may be used in any media for any purpose, which may include advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging for any product or service. Your recipe and cocktail name may also be combined with other images, text and graphics or altered and modified. You agree that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual.
- Competitors agree that Crystal Ridge may use their name and image in coordination with their recipe and cocktail name in any media for any purpose, which may include advertising, promotion, and marketing. You agree that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual.
- Competitors agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Crystal Ridge Distillery harmless from any and all liabilities, losses, costs, damages, penalties and any other expenses including attorney’s fees arising directly or indirectly from any acts or omissions by a Contestant in his or her participation of the contest and/or the submission of his or her recipe for consideration or any liability resulting from any content provided by Contestant to Crystal Ridge Distillery that infringes any patents, copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights, including trade secrets, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity.
- Drinks names deemed offensive, discriminatory, sexual, or promoting illegal substances or behaviors are prohibited.
- Crystal Ridge Distillery reserves the right to final decision on any matter relating to determining winners of their cocktail recipe contest.
- Employees and family members of employees at Crystal Ridge Distillery are disqualified from entering.
